The Road to the 100-Fold Harvest

Psalm 126

A song of ascents!

When the Lord brought back His exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream!

We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy.

And the other nations said, "What amazing things the Lord has done for them."

Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What joy!

Restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the desert.

Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.

They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Confidence

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.
—Psalm 48:14

Thank you for this confidence! Thank you that I KNOW you will indeed guide us into exactly what you want for us. In the beauty that you have created "me" (the level of patience you have granted to this passionate girl) I wait and trust. And....

I love you too!

Nothing is too difficult for Thee

The forests of the hill country will be yours as well. Clear as much of the land as you wish, and take possession of its farthest corners. And you will drive out the Canaanites from the valleys, too, even though they are strong and have iron chariots.” (Joshua 17:18 NLT)

Obedience and Reverance... Yes.

The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only he will release my feet from the snare.
—Psalm 25:14–15

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. “See, all your angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing. You will look in vain for those who tried to conquer you. Those who attack you will come to nothing. For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you. Though you are a lowly worm, O Jacob, don’t be afraid, people of Israel, for I will help you. I am the Lord, your Redeemer. I am the Holy One of Israel.’ You will be a new threshing instrument with many sharp teeth. You will tear your enemies apart, making chaff of mountains. You will toss them into the air, and the wind will blow them all away; a whirlwind will scatter them. Then you will rejoice in the Lord. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel. I will plant trees in the barren desert— cedar, acacia, myrtle, olive, cypress, fir, and pine. I am doing this so all who see this miracle will understand what it means— that it is the Lord who has done this, the Holy One of Israel who created it. (Isaiah 41:10-16, 19, 20 NLT)

And now the Lord your God has given the other tribes rest, as he promised them. So go back home to the land that Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave you as your possession on the east side of the Jordan River. But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.” he said to them, “Go back to your homes with the great wealth you have taken from your enemies—the vast herds of livestock, the silver, gold, bronze, and iron, and the large supply of clothing. Share the plunder with your relatives.” (Joshua 22:4, 5, 8 NLT)

The rest of Israel heard that the people of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh had built an altar at Geliloth at the edge of the land of Canaan, on the west side of the Jordan River. So the whole community of Israel gathered at Shiloh and prepared to go to war against them. “The whole community of the Lord demands to know why you are betraying the God of Israel. How could you turn away from the Lord and build an altar for yourselves in rebellion against him? Didn’t divine anger fall on the entire community of Israel when Achan, a member of the clan of Zerah, sinned by stealing the things set apart for the Lord ? He was not the only one who died because of his sin.” Then the people of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh answered the heads of the clans of Israel: “The Lord, the Mighty One, is God! The Lord, the Mighty One, is God! He knows the truth, and may Israel know it, too! We have not built the altar in treacherous rebellion against the Lord. If we have done so, do not spare our lives this day. If we have built an altar for ourselves to turn away from the Lord or to offer burnt offerings or grain offerings or peace offerings, may the Lord himself punish us. “So we decided to build the altar, not for burnt offerings or sacrifices, but as a memorial. It will remind our descendants and your descendants that we, too, have the right to worship the Lord at his sanctuary with our burnt offerings, sacrifices, and peace offerings. Then your descendants will not be able to say to ours, ‘You have no claim to the Lord.’ (Joshua 22:11, 12, 16, 20-23, 26, 27 NLT)

No matter what misunderstanding taints my "reputation" or what others THINK they know about my purpose and motives, GOD knows my heart. He will go before me and take care of the results. This is His word to me today. I can trust it AND Him!! My answer will be yes.

By definition, praying hard is hard because it's hard. ~Mark Batterson

The forests of the hill country will be yours as well. Clear as much of the land as you wish, and take possession of its farthest corners. And you will drive out the Canaanites from the valleys, too, even though they are strong and have iron chariots.” (Joshua 17:18 NLT)

I'm not even gonna lie. I don't wanna pray ALAT (as long as it takes) prayers.

“O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act! For your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for your people and your city bear your name.” The moment you began praying, a command was given. And now I am here to tell you what it was, for you are very precious to God. Listen carefully so that you can understand the meaning of your vision. (Daniel 9:19, 23 NLT)

Lord thank you for the sweet time Jonathan and Emma and I had yesterday circling our situations. Thank you for the way You conquered the enemy's attempts to squash that. Lord we have shown You our faith. Now please show us Your faithfulness and do not delay. I am praying hard and will continue to do so. Please do not delay.

I love You, too.

Why not SURPRISE me??!!❤:)

But the tribe of Judah could not drive out the Jebusites, who lived in the city of Jerusalem, so the Jebusites live there among the people of Judah to this day. (Joshua 15:63 NLT)

Why could they not drive them out?  More aptly asked.... Why did You not drive them out?  You provided the victory right?  Therefore I deduce you allowed the "defeat". Why?  You gave them this land. Why this one group of people - the Jebusites?  Why were they allowed to not be driven out?  There's a lesson. Give me eyes to see and ears to hear and heart to comprehend what it is, Lord.

Did they not ask??? (Draw the Circle day 15)

"And when we pray, God throws surprise parties." ~Mark Batterson. Lord you KNOW me. You made me! You KNOW I ADORE surprises!! Surprise me God! Throw the biggest surprise party ever on my behalf. If I have not because I've asked not..,. I'm asking now!! For five years you have continually reminded me that You have promised me "this land" and that my enemies will be driven out. Without question I personally cannot see a way out or "in". Without question You are the ONLY way something like that could happen!! Surprise me Lord!!

Oh, my Abba... Oh how
I love You, too!

What a morning. Good stuff from the Word. Woke up feeling very "end-of-my-rope-ish".  All of my worries spinning around in my head like a tornado. So many why and how questions as I stood at the sink in the dark making my pot of coffee.  Wondering what in the world this whole circle thing is about and why I can't seem to draw mine right enough to get "whatever I ask in His Name". 💔 Then the first thing I read.....

Relax in My healing, holy Presence. Allow Me to transform you through this time alone with Me. As your thoughts center more and more on Me, trust displaces fear and worry.

I answered... "yes, Lord❤"

And He simply began to flood my mind with Truth.

God places His saints where they will bring the most glory to Him, and we are totally incapable of judging where that may be. ~Oswald Chambers

The fears of the wicked will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted. When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation. (Proverbs 10:24, 25 NLT)

Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut. (Proverbs 10:19 NLT)

Hatred stirs up quarrels, but love makes up for all offenses. (Proverbs 10:12 NLT)

The Lord rules over the floodwaters. The Lord reigns as king forever. The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace. (Psalms 29:10, 11 NLT)

...... “I myself will drive these people out of the land ahead of the Israelites. So be sure to give this land to Israel as a special possession, just as I have commanded you. (Joshua 13:6 NLT)

but my brothers who went with me frightened the people from entering the Promised Land. For my part, I wholeheartedly followed the Lord my God. So that day Moses solemnly promised me, ‘The land of Canaan on which you were just walking will be your grant of land and that of your descendants forever, because you wholeheartedly followed the Lord my God.’ “Now, as you can see, the Lord has kept me alive and well as he promised for all these forty-five years since Moses made this promise—even while Israel wandered in the wilderness. Today I am eighty-five years old. I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then. So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me. You will remember that as scouts we found the descendants of Anak living there in great, walled towns. But if the Lord is with me, I will drive them out of the land, just as the Lord said.” (Joshua 14:8-12 NLT)

Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me; Fight against those who fight against me. (Psalms 35:1 NASB)Awake, and rise to my defense! Contend for me, my God and Lord. (Psalm 35:23 NIV)

❤ I will see my dream/vision of a bed n breakfast/refuge for the weary (that HE placed in my heart) come to fruition. He will do it. For His glory He will do it. In His time He will do it. In His way and with His resources He will miraculously do it. Period. I can't wait!!!!..... yet I do. ❤

Ask Anything In My Name

You didn’t choose me, but I chose you. I have appointed you to go, to produce fruit that will last, and to ask the Father in my name to give you whatever you ask for. Love each other. This is what I’m commanding you to do. If you had anything in common with the world, the world would love you as one of its own. But you don’t have anything in common with the world. I chose you from the world, and that’s why the world hates you. (John 15:16, 17, 19 GWT)

So they were asking each other, “What does he mean when he says, ‘In a little while’? We don’t understand what he’s talking about.” (John 16:18 GWT)

When that day comes, you won’t ask me any more questions. I can guarantee this truth: If you ask the Father for anything in my name, he will give it to you. So far you haven’t asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive so that you can be completely happy. (John 16:23, 24 GWT)

They asked "what does it mean 'in a little while?'"..... I ask "what does it mean 'in My Name' ?"

WHAT am I missing??? How does Gibeon get the sun to stand still in the sky and Honi make it rain and Elijah make fire come down to burn up his sacrifice?  And I can't even get you to make yourself known to me at 3 in the afternoon?  Lord I KNOW You're real! I KNOW I'm Yours! I TOTALLY trust Your Sivereignty. And sincerely know how to accept that Your ways are higher than mine. I guess I'm saying you know I know how to accept a no answer. But I feel like You want me to know how to pray for a "yes". But I. DONT. GET IT! 💔 Show me what I'm missing and help me to accept it.

I pray to you, O Lord, my rock. Do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you are silent, I might as well give up and die. Listen to my prayer for mercy as I cry out to you for help, as I lift my hands toward your holy sanctuary. Do not drag me away with the wicked— with those who do evil— those who speak friendly words to their neighbors while planning evil in their hearts. Give them the punishment they so richly deserve! Measure it out in proportion to their wickedness. Pay them back for all their evil deeds! Give them a taste of what they have done to others. They care nothing for what the Lord has done or for what his hands have made. So he will tear them down, and they will never be rebuilt! Praise the Lord ! For he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. The Lord gives his people strength. He is a safe fortress for his anointed king. Save your people! Bless Israel, your special possession. Lead them like a shepherd, and carry them in your arms forever. (Psalms 28:1-9 NLT)

So Joshua took control of the entire land, just as the Lord had instructed Moses. He gave it to the people of Israel as their special possession, dividing the land among the tribes. So the land finally had rest from war. (Joshua 11:23 NLT)

A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

they resorted to deception to save themselves. They sent ambassadors to Joshua, loading their donkeys with weathered saddlebags and old, patched wineskins. So the Israelites examined their food, but they did not consult the Lord. Then Joshua made a peace treaty with them and guaranteed their safety, and the leaders of the community ratified their agreement with a binding oath. But the Israelites did not attack the towns, for the Israelite leaders had made a vow to them in the name of the Lord, the God of Israel. The people of Israel grumbled against their leaders because of the treaty. But the leaders replied, “Since we have sworn an oath in the presence of the Lord, the God of Israel, we cannot touch them. (Joshua 9:4, 14, 15, 18, 19 NLT)

Lord help me to be wise on this journey. Bring to mind this passage instantaneously if ever I start to make a decision without consulting you. Help me to think the best of others at the same time being prudent and discerning and most importantly tuned to Your Spirit!!  And help me to always remember I'm sowing a harvest. Not just for me but for my children's children's children's children. Bless me in this request I've circled Lord! I look forward to and thank you in advance for the perfect answer that's gonna knock my socks off!!!

I love You too!

But This Time.....

You will destroy them as you destroyed Jericho and its king. But this time you may keep the plunder and the livestock for yourselves. Set an ambush behind the town.” (Joshua 8:2 NLT)

"But this time....."  Obedience. It's all about being in tune with the Holy Spirit.  He was very clear in the previous battle that no plunder should be taken. "But this time" He was quite clear that plunder COULD be taken.

Lord, make me ever so sensitive to your leading. Give me ears to hear, eyes to see, and courage to follow implicitly. ❤

I love you too!

Every Thought Captive

There is zero doubt that You have placed the bnb dream in my heart and mind. DreamMaker, how do I take these thoughts captive?  in what ways am I to walk (to step out) in obedience?  If nothing else I declare my belief that You will bring it to pass. But if there are practical steps to be made, show them to me clearly.  Lord I don't know how to make my life more yours. Moment by moment I give my hopes my dreams my disappointment and disillusionments. I know what I think I want. A home (bnb) a companion, my children with me more. I draw a circle around it all and trust that you will bless me with all that You know is best for me. But is that too weak of a prayer?  Am I missing a measure of faith to ask boldly for what I want?  Teach me what You want me to know God.

I love you too!

We will use these stones to build a memorial. In the future your children will ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ Then you can tell them, ‘They remind us that the Jordan River stopped flowing when the Ark of the Lord ’s Covenant went across.’ These stones will stand as a memorial among the people of Israel forever.” So the men did as Joshua had commanded them. They took twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan River, one for each tribe, just as the Lord had told Joshua. They carried them to the place where they camped for the night and constructed the memorial there. He did this so all the nations of the earth might know that the Lord ’s hand is powerful, and so you might fear the Lord your God forever.” (Joshua 4:6-8, 24 NLT)

This is coming. I'm convinced. Lord help me see it clearly. Make these verses come like a billboard before my mind's eye when it happens!  May YOU be glorified! I look forward to my children seeing you and recognizing Your work in our lives!

I love you too!
