The Road to the 100-Fold Harvest

Psalm 126

A song of ascents!

When the Lord brought back His exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream!

We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy.

And the other nations said, "What amazing things the Lord has done for them."

Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What joy!

Restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the desert.

Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.

They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Reversal of Destiny

Esther 3:13 and 4:3
13 Letters were sent by couriers to each of the royal provinces [telling the officials] to destroy, kill, and annihilate all the Jewish people—young and old, women and children—and plunder their possessions on a single day, the thirteenth day of Adar, the twelfth month.
3 There was great mourning among the Jewish people in every province where the king's command and edict came. They fasted, wept, and lamented, and many lay on sackcloth and ashes.

Esther 8:11,12,16
11 The king's edict gave the Jews in each and every city the right to assemble and defend themselves, to destroy, kill, and annihilate every ethnic and provincial army hostile to them, including women and children, and to take their possessions as spoils of war. 12 [This would take place] on a single day throughout all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month Adar.
16 and the Jews celebrated [d] with gladness, joy and honor.

Wow! Another example of how what Satan plans for evil, God can turn around for good! He IS our Redeemer! Do you see the specific reversal of destinies here? Not only in who is victorious vs who is annihilated, but look... God's Word is SOOOO awesome in its detail! Look closely in Esther 4:3...
They...
fasted
wept
lamented
lay on sackcloth and ashes

But then look what happened in 8:16 after God was through working "behind the scenes" on behalf of His people!!!
fasting >>>was turned to>>> celebrating (with a feast!)
weeping >>>was turned to>>> gladness
lamenting >>>was turned to>>> joy
the humilation of laying on sackcloth and ashes >>>was turned to>>> honor

Again I ask... is God still the same yesterday, today, and forever???
YES!

Right now, the overall picture of my circumstances is:
painful
unfair
lonely
exhausted

Yet, I am His! My heart is fully His! He, of all, knows this! Therefore, I can expectantly wait and watch for the reversal of these...
pain >>>turning to>>> relief
unfairness >>>turning to>>> justice
lonliness >>>turning to>>> a place to "fit in"
exhaustion >>>turning to>>> energy

Everything that characterizes my (and has characterized) my life up to this point can be not just simply restored.... (That seems, at this point, to be a "limited", "in-the-box" request.) No, not just simply re-stored... but REVERSED!

Oh, Sweet Redeemer!
I believe! Help my unbelief!
I wait expectantly and...
I love You, too!
J
